There was a time when taking a photograph meant not knowing.

Somewhere along the way, we lost that.
Photography became instant, endless and disposable. We started chasing digital perfection instead of memory. Delete. Retake. Filter. Repeat. The moment could always be improved, so it was never allowed to simply exist.
Negative Club began with a quiet pull in the opposite direction.
It began with two cousins, raised like siblings, who shared the same early memories even though life eventually placed us in different worlds. Suitcases were packed. Languages shifted. Time moved. But the photographs stayed the same. Silly faces. Blurry birthdays. Friends who felt enormous in our lives. The kind of images that would never survive today’s editing habits, and yet they are the ones we treasure most.
We didn’t start Negative Club to be trendy or to chase algorithms.
We started it because we wanted to build something together, as a family. Something honest. Something slower.
Film photography is our way back.
